Giuseppe Gallo is one of the world’s most respected mixologists with an inherent passion for the drinks business: he represents the unparalleled source of knowledge and insight into the world of drinks. He has worked in almost every type of drinks and hospitality business over the last 20 years, from hotel bars to brand and marketing divisions, and as a true entrepreneur into the cocktail industry. Giuseppe has achieved an impressive reputation in the hospitality world and is often approached to contribute to editorials for international trade media. He has been profiled in influential titles including: The Sunday Times, CLASS, Imbibe, Vanity Fair, Wall Street Journal and PEOPLE.

In the last few years, Giuseppe helped develop and create the DrinksTube platform by Jamie Oliver, and in 2015-16, he contributed to the re-launch of the entire cocktail program for Jamie’s Italian restaurants in the UK. Giuseppe is a member of the committee as international co-chair at Tales Spirited Awards in the USA and he is considered to be one of the world experts on Vermouth & Amaro. Through ITALSPIRITS he is promoting the Italian drinking culture from the UK around the world.

In 2016, he created ITALICUS Rosolio di Bergamotto to re-establish a forgotten Aperitivo category: in the first year after the launch, the brand was crowned with the title of Best New Spirit at Tales of the Cocktail and it proved to be the most innovative cocktail ingredient at the European Bar Awards in Berlin, achieving over 50 gold medals in only a few years since the inception.

In October 2019, Giuseppe launched a new global project with the Roma Bar Show, which reached immediate international success with over 12K visitors throughout the two days.

In September 2021, he launched SAVOIA Americano: made with a blend of 22 botanicals in a historic distillery in Turin, Italy, it showcases a bold flavour profile that’s characteristic of the Americano category of aperitivo, and provides a perfect mid-point between red bitters and sweet vermouths for a range of classic Italian cocktails.
Nowadays Giuseppe Gallo works closely with young entrepreneurs to help them create and launch new start-ups, providing relevant advice thanks to his expertise.

Originally from Rome, Roberta has over fifteen years of experience in the hospitality and beverage industry. Before becoming the Global Advocacy Director at ITALICUS & Savoia, she served as a Global Brand Ambassador for Martini Rossi for six years. Renowned in Italian cocktail culture, she helped open the award-winning Bar Termini in London.

At ItalSpirits, Roberta leads trade activations and educational initiatives, promoting aperitivo culture through programs like the Art of ITALICUS challenge

Recognized as one of the Top 10 leading female spirits brand ambassadors by The Spirit’s Business in 2021, Roberta continues to shape and elevate the industry as Educational and Diversity Director for the Roma Bar Show and she also holds the esteemed position of European Co-Chair at the Tales of The Cocktail Spirited Awards

Alessandro Geraci

Alessandro Geraci is the Brand Manager at Italspirits, ITALICUS Rosolio di Bergamotto and SAVOIA Vino Aperitivo. An Italian native based in the UK for over ten years, Alessandro’s journey in hospitality began over a decade ago. He started by managing top London venues such as Aqua Shard and Chiltern Firehouse and even opened a pop-up restaurant in Marylebone during the pandemic back in 2020.

His love for the craft and desire to inspire others has driven his career. Alessandro’s experience spans revenue generation, leadership, and marketing, underpinned by his diploma in F&B Management and Digital Marketing. A respected mixologist, he is dedicated to connecting with people and fostering career growth within the industry. At Italspirits, Alessandro combines his extensive knowledge with creativity and a deep passion for the drinks business.

Palmira Bertuca

Palmira Bertuca

Palmira Bertuca is the Italian Aperitif Specialist at Italspirits, promoting ITALICUS Rosolio di Bergamotto and SAVOIA Vino Aperitivo through training and events in Italy. Born in Calabria and raised in Bologna, Palmira began her bar career in high school and gained international experience at venues like the Edition in London, Bar Machiavelli in Sydney, Soho House in Barcelona, and the InterContinental in Singapore. She returned to Italy in 2021 as Bar Manager at The Social Hub in Florence, contributing to its acclaim. At Italspirits, she combines her extensive experience with creativity and customer care.

Federico Doldi

Federico Doldi

Originally from Crema, a small town in Northern Italy, Federico always knew he wanted to be a bar aficionado. At just sixteen years old, he began working in his friend’s bar, helping out where he could. Almost a decade later, he moved to London to increase his knowledge in the industry, working at five-star locations like the prestigious Chiltern Firehouse Hotel and opened a state-of-the-art restaurant, Louie. In between his years in London, he was able to travel back to Rome, where he had the chance to work for the renowned European speakeasy, The Jerry Thomas Project.

As US Aperitivo Specialist, Federico uses his role to educate consumers in the U.S. market about the brand, seeing a huge opportunity as the aperitivo category has exponentially grown in recent years.

Federico continues to be inspired by ITALICUS and Savoia’s rich Italian heritage and authenticity. He enjoys bringing to life these unique products for mixologists and consumers to try.

In his spare time, Federico enjoys exploring his new city, New York, by visiting new bars, museums and markets for all kinds of varieties of fruits and spices and anything he can add to an ITALICUS or Savoia recipe.

Christopher Sedgwick is a highly accomplished PR and communications professional with over 17 years of expertise spanning luxury, lifestyle and the drinks industry. Currently the Head of PR & Communications for ITALICUS Rosolio di Bergamotto, SAVOIA Vino Aperitivo and ItalSpirits, Christopher has built an exceptional career driving brand visibility, market growth and consumer engagement.

Christopher’s extensive experience includes working with prestigious luxury brands such as Prada and Selfridges, as well as managing communications for iconic private buildings like Spencer House. For over six years, he successfully ran his own PR agency, further honing his strategic and creative consultancy skills while delivering outstanding results for a diverse range of clients.

Known for his strategic thinking, creative vision and ability to nurture strong partnerships, Christopher continues to deliver impactful PR and communications strategies that elevate brands and drive their success in highly competitive markets.
