Beam, an American spirits company and owner of Jim Beam brand, has added a new white whiskey – Jacob’s Ghost – under the Jim Beam brand.

Crafted more than two centuries ago by the brand’s founding distiller Jacob Beam, the Jacob’s Ghost is an 80-proof white whiskey that is aged for a year in white oak barrels.

The whiskey offers wood-influenced flavors, traditional bourbon hues, lighter body and adaptable character.

The 40{779800b323ee42e5ed999e502e0319b1817165bd3ddf64ca8ef6f651c78cdacf} ABV whiskey can be used in traditional whiskey cocktails or as a base in variety of mixed cocktails featuring vodka, tequila or rum such as ‘Cosmopolitans’ and ‘Bloody Marys.’

Jim Beam 7th generation master distiller Fred Noe said the white whiskey represents both its past and future.

“It’s a tribute to my family’s ancestry and our first distiller, while also showing our chops at innovation by perfecting what Jacob first created into a whiskey that’s unlike anything out there today,” Noe added.
