Neil Armstrong, the first man on the Moon, has died aged 82.

He set foot on the Moon on 20 July 1969, famously describing the event as “one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind”.

Cocktail legend Joe Gilmore was the head bartender at American bar at SAVOY Hotel in London at that time and in order to celebrate this history milestone was sent to mix a special drink for Mr. Armstrong and Team.

Gilmore arrived one hour before the astronaut came out of quarantine and this was the first drink they had back on the earth.
