What to drink in your city? Top bars in Milan where you can enjoy an Italicus cocktail

Mattia Pastori, Mixologist of Italicus for the north of Italy advised where to go and what to drink in the most polyhedral city in Italy, Milan.

What do you think about the cocktail scene of Milan and how changed in the last 5 years?

Milan is a mix of cocktail cultures, we can find historic bars and new bars, mixing concepts that are influenced by Milan’s two biggest industries, fashion and design.

Milan has 5 different Cocktail Bars areas, we have Navigli and Arco Della Pace with the largest amount of bars perfect for Aperitivo, Corso Como with bars for the after dinner and club and Brera area where most of the bars are inside the restaurants. There are few new areas who have been offering interesting cocktail bars in recent years, City Center, Stazione Centrale and Bocconi University

What are the best bars where to sip an Italicus cocktail?

In the city center, you can go to Armani Caffè where they have a beautiful Spritz a classic Italian with a modern twist given by Italicus, if you go to this bar ask for Andrea Maugeri and the Mediterranean Spritz. The bars are close to Via Montenapoleone and it is open from morning until late at night, they serve also a beautiful lunch.

If you are close to Stazione Centrale, Matteo Rizzolo is the bartender of Moebius a new tapas cocktail bar & restaurant with a wonderful design and a chef with 2 Michelin stars. The restaurant has an industrial design with an L&P shop inside, sharing tables for big groups and a nice bar area where enjoy cocktails. The perfect drink to ask is a twist on a Negroni Bianco called Metebarone.

The last bar is in the Bocconi University area, Officine Milanesi, Jacopo the bartender & Giorgio the Bar Manager will prepare you a very simple highball cocktails based on Italicus and Perrier water, serve on a 2 ice ball that makes the drink perfect for aperitivo but also a drink to refresh you after a nice dinner at the Navigli.
