Join us at Barcelona Cocktail Fest 2026!

Pop-ups, global bar talent, brand partners, seminars and workshops confirmed for Barcelona Cocktail Fest this April.

Barcelona Cocktail Fest (previously Paradiso Sustainability Summit) returns to Palo Alto, Poblenou on 18–19 April 2026, bringing with it an expanded, city-connected programme that unites the international bar industry, Spain’s hospitality network, and Barcelona’s local community.

Across the wider festival week, Barcelona will come alive with events, pop-ups, and collaborations, all building towards the main weekend hub at Palo Alto, a creative venue designed for both indoor and outdoor experiences.

Guided by the 2026 theme FutureProof – Reimagining the Industry for What Comes Next the festival focuses on practical, forward-thinking ideas that bartenders, operators, and brands can take back to their venues. The programme is curated by Giacomo Giannotti, founder of Paradiso, with panels developed in collaboration with The Sustainable Restaurant Association to ensure a strong focus on actionable progress.

“Barcelona Cocktail Fest is about building what comes next, together,” said Giacomo Giannotti. “We’re keeping the craft and community spirit people love, while opening the experience to more voices from Barcelona and beyond, industry, locals, and families alike.”

The Palo Alto Experience

Over two days, Palo Alto will transform into a dynamic, city-scale showcase of contemporary drinks culture. The festival brings together world-class bar pop-ups, immersive tasting experiences, and education-led sessions, all within one vibrant space.

Guests can explore signature serves, discover new techniques and flavour profiles, and engage directly with leading brands through curated showcases. Dedicated networking areas create space for meaningful connections between founders, operators, and industry leaders, while live DJs and a curated food offering keep the energy high throughout the weekend.

FutureProof in Practice: Seminars and Workshops

The FutureProof seminar programme delivers two days of talks, live tastings, and open conversations exploring the future of hospitality. The international speaker lineup includes Charlotte Voisey (Tales of the Cocktail Foundation), Simone Caporale (SIPS, Barcelona), Juliane Caillouette Noble (Sustainable Restaurant Association), Vijay Mudaliar (Native, Singapore), and Jean Trinh (Alquímico, Cartagena), alongside leading voices from Barcelona’s bar community.

Sessions explore key topics shaping the industry, from sustainability and waste reduction to the evolving role of technology in hospitality. Highlights include a live blind tasting challenging perceptions of sustainable cocktails, discussions on the next generation of bartenders and bar concepts, and a closing conversation focused on building a long-term career in the industry.

With contributors from across four continents, FutureProof brings together the voices actively shaping what comes next.

Global Pop-Ups and Brand Partnerships

BCF 2026 hosts an international line-up of award-winning bars, with headline pop-ups including Himkok (Oslo), Native (Singapore), Alquímico (Cartagena), Röda Huset (Stockholm), Angelita (Madrid), and Drink Kong (Rome). These are joined by De Vie, Locale Firenze, The Bar in Front of the Bar, and Lady Bee, creating a diverse and globally representative bar programme while staying rooted in Barcelona’s identity.

The festival is developed in partnership between Giacomo Giannotti and ItalSpirits, led by Giuseppe Gallo, combining bar-led creative direction with an expanded programme of city-wide activations and brand experiences.

BCF 2026 is supported by leading industry partners including Bacardi Martini, Torres, Perrier, Maker’s Mark, Altamura, Savoia, Italicus, and Arbike, among others. Hilton Diagonal Mar Barcelona joins as the official hotel partner, offering a convenient and sustainability-focused stay just a short walk from the festival site.

“Barcelona has always had a rare mix of creativity and hospitality,” said Giuseppe Gallo. “BCF is an opportunity to bring that energy into a festival format that connects trade and consumers, delivering innovation, education, and unforgettable experiences while keeping Barcelona’s cocktail culture at its core.”

With global media partners including Tales of the Cocktail and Imbibe, Barcelona Cocktail Fest 2026 stands as a truly international meeting point for talent, ideas, and future-facing hospitality.
