Inspired by the classic Italian aperitivo, Peroni Ambra combines crisp and refreshing Peroni with the sharpness of Italian Chinotto – a rare Italian citrus fruit from Liguria, North West Italy.
Chinotto Fruit
Inspired by the bitter ‘aperitivo’ Italian ritual, the product is a pre-dinner drink designed to open the palate and stimulate the appetite. The best way to enjoy it? Just pour it into a tumbler glass, over ice, and garnish it with orange peel. Its bittersweet flavour will leave the palate cleansed and refreshed.
Bespoke glasses, all handmande in Italy, have been designed by Italian designer, Andrea Morgante.
Our team was lucky enough to visit Peroni Ambra’s brewery in Italy, which is very close to the farmers of Besio, where the very rare Chinotto fruit is sourced.
Somerset House Terrace presented by Peroni Ambra will be open for six months, from the 1st of April until the end of September, and it will transport guests to the rural Chinotto orchard of North West Italy through a series of experiences, whilst savouring exclusive Peroni Ambra infused cocktails created by award-winning Master of Mixology Simone Caporale
The delicious bespoke cicchetti menu will be curated by Master of Taste Francesco Mazzei.
