As the world turns its eyes to Milano Cortina 2026, Italy once again takes centre stage, not only as host of the Winter Olympics, but as a global symbol of culture, craftsmanship, and timeless style.

To mark the beginning of this historic moment, Italspirits collaborated with Sogni Milano and Bluesquare Milano, two leading cocktail bars, inviting them to interpret the Winter Olympics through their own creative lens.

Hosting the 2026 Winter Olympics is more than a sporting milestone for Italy, it’s a cultural moment where Italy continues to influence how the world experiences beauty, taste, and lifestyle. That same creative spirit extends into the bar. 

Using Italicus Rosolio di Bergamotto and Savoia Vino Aperitivo as their foundation, the bars created a series of Olympics-inspired signature cocktails. 

Working closely with the bartenders, we explored how Italian aperitivo culture can translate the feeling of winter sport into flavour, balance, and form. Italicus brings aromatic brightness and floral depth, while Savoia adds structure, bitterness, and richness, offering a versatile base for creative expression behind the bar.

Zefiro, by Bluesquare, Milan
Featuring Italicus Rosolio di Bergamotto, yuzu juice, pink grapefruit soda, and thyme salt. Served in a highball.

Olympic Vibes, by Sogni, Milan
Featuring Savoia Rosso, mezcal, beurre noisette, winter cordial (orange, cinnamon, vanilla), and sparkling apple.

Orancio Margarita, by Bluesquare, Milan
Featuring Savoia Orancio, tequila blanco, lime juice, and salt. Served in a coupette.

Designed to be enjoyed slowly, these cocktails reflect a shared philosophy: respect for ingredients, thoughtful craftsmanship, and a modern approach to Italian tradition.
